VFW Post 5896 Holds Memorial
Services
Norman L. Rigdon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5896, in Farmington MO will
spend Memorial Day, May 28, 2007 honoring their fallen comrades at area
cemeteries. Memorial services will commence at 07:00 a.m. at the Odd Fellows
Cemetery on St. Genevieve Ave. Special observances will be held at the St.
Francois County War Memorial, located at the county court house in Farmington
at 12:00 noon. VFW Post is in its 61st year of services to the community they
serve and its members will pay tribute to those men and women who gave their
last full measure of devotion to this country.
